Little leagues have outfields with better communication. How does this problem keep dogging us every night?

Great job, Mike!! The Mets should be thoroughly embarrassed.  They have scored 2 runs in 7 innings against a career minor leaguer at Shea..  :worship:

Good job, Bacsik! He needs to develop a knuckler or something to compliment that crazy 86 mph fastball.

Beggars can't be choosers. We gotta get him out of there and take what he gave us, which was a bona fide quality start (not that wimpy official quality start). Let's give it up for Bacsik

This is HUGE with the bullpen already burnt and a double header tomorrow. We would have been doomed if Mike didn't last so long.

I'd still rather see him come back in than Ray King. I like King and all, but at least we know Bacsik can pitch to this lineup. The lefty/lefty thing should be thrown out the window..except for Delgado.

Carpenter compares Kearns' batting eye to Nick Johnson. Yeah...right.
