On Wednesday, interim skipper Jim Riggleman expressed hope that the Nats keep quiet at the trade deadline -- and he thinks they will. "My first priority," he said, "is that we keep this group together and see what we can do with them."

I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.  It's not like interim skipper is going to have much sway on the FO's decisions.

We probably could have gotten Alderson and some more for Willingham. too bad we missed that boat.

The Giants are going all out to make the playoffs.

Hey SF, can you believe Dunn isn't playing tonight?  It's like he doesn't even care :icon_mrgreen:

There was a time when I might have cared about Tomterp's numbers vs SF's guts.  The Nats are SF is 0-162 when SF predicts the outcome.

It's just a case of the selfish being selfish. Dunn doesn't care that the odds are in Milwakee's favor after dropping two in a row to the Nats and goes on and takes a day off.  :bang:

I'm surprised he isn't eating a BBQ sammy with his Jesey unbuttoned and wearing a Toby Keith T-shirt underneath

If we win tonight extending our streak to 5 games? (or 4?) then we go to the new Pirates and we can easily win all those games. We will have a nice streak..
