what was the thinking there?

We are the Nationals so we, absolutely, positively can't win five games in a row.

This just in

a member on WNFF, sportsfan882, has been signed pitching coach!

It hurts, it really does, but nothing we can do about it. Just a bad decision. Rivera had a good ab, or so it seems. Not by a tv so I guess yall got the upperhand.

garbage. Mock serving up beach balls
this game is over.

If we get to Page 7, with Mock on the mound, before getting a "this game is over" SF post, while the Nationals still have a lead, then we can still expect to win this game...

Nationals 5
Brewskis  6

Ugh...Belliard and Kearns in the lineup, back to back.

It really hurts now.

Riggleman certainly aided to the loss by starting Belliard and Kearns. a joke

pitching not even close to being good enough to win though.

true. like I told tomterp I knew we would lose this game, in some way or another.

I would have rather lost 10-0 than blow a 4 run lead. embarrassing

I just don't get the logic of playing Kearns and Belliard together AND back-to-back.  Kearns and Belliard likely wouldn't be on another team's 25-man roster.  Why put them in the lineup together.

A good manager thinks ahead.  Even if you want to give someone a day off, you should never put yourself in the position to use Kearns and Belliard in the same lineup.

Now putting Clippard back in the game explains why Riggleman played Kearns and Belliard tonight.  He doesn't care if we win this game.

Sportsfan's odds fairy is nudging Clippard's elbow on every fastball, throwing off the accuracy.

nor his secondary pitches. 18 balls, 15 strikes.

woeful outing. the walk and HR with 2 outs ruined it.
