That was a pretty bad throw by Lannan.  Young had to jump for it.

It hit his glove. He misjudged the throw, which was a little high, but he should've at least caught it. Lannan worked his way out of it anyway.

With Dmitri's display of jumping in the miss of the pickoff throw, we really ought to get him in the Olympics as a broad jumper.

But it looks like Lannan is going to turn in another stellar performance? And I take it we havent seen much offense yet?

Who's in the booth with Johnny H?  No MASN graphics for that, since an Orialls operation...

It's almost 1 am in England now, is it not?  Who airs the game over there?

Hey all.  Just introduced myself yesterday so this is my first official post.  Started watching the game a little late because I got caught in traffic on the way home from Virginia... Some idiot jumped his Honda over a ditch.  Anyway, another good start from Lannan so far.

Wow... jinxed it.

Jose Rijo and Paul LoDuca.

You read that The Chief?  We've got the SQUIRREL man in the booth.  Best choice for a color man!

There's no curly W on the gameday thread from yesterday by the way.  Anyone else noticed that?

That Braun at-bat probably cost Lannan an inning.

So we can keep posting in it...

One of the color analysts, José Rijo, currently works as a special assistant to general manager Jim Bowden of the Washington Nationals baseball team. He won two games in the 1990 World Series, pitching for the Cincinnati Reds.  On March 30, 2008 Rijo warmed up the president before he threw out the traditional first pitch for the Washington Nationals' home opener.  And he's from the Dominican Republic...
