Yeah even though he worked his way out of it, a pitcher can only dodge the bullet for so long. At the next hint of trouble I'd get him out of there.

actually, this inning was his easiest - only one baserunner. and only 9 pitches. 69 pitches after 5 innings.

kearns is up this inning - yesterday, he hit the ball hard all night. 2nite he's hitting infield grounders.

Did you guys see the curly W? I loved it but I think it's funny how I loved seeing them do it at camden yet I hate opposing fans that do it at RFK.

Guthrie's stuff doesn't appear all that electric but he has them fooled.

Not me, I hate it. At the last game against the Phillies last season they tried to hold up an Eagles banner and my brother and I pulled it from them.

This is Simontacchi's biggest inning of the game.

This is Simontacchi's biggest inning of the game.

Definitely.  Simontacchi only has one quality start in 7 starts.  A leadoff double...
Sacrifice moves Huff to 3rd base.

Those two innings leaving runners at 2nd and 3rd are hurting us right now.

I know our BP was used last night but we can't allow Simontacchi to go much deeper and ruin our chances to win this game. I don't know that I would let him face the top of the order in the 7th.

I don't know how we're going to score more runs.  Guthrie is dominating us.

The o's have 8 hits and 4 walks - we are lucky that we're not down 4-1

well if Lopez's ball stays in the park we'd be up 2-1

There's no way you bring him back in the 7th, unless Manny is writing this game off and trying to save the bullpen for Toronto.
