Yeah that's why I deserve the pitcher and pinch hitters.

You're the one who took the first pick. I was willing to negotiate for the first pick. freak it, I'll let you have the pitcher and one PH at bat for the pitcher.

Nah it was TB.  I remember because I didn't realize walks wouldn't count until Dunn got his first.

We didn't count walks? That doesn't sound right.

PANatsFan want to count walks?

Total bases only counts hits, pure and simple.

You have two of three power hitters. Hammer and Dunn both walk a ton and no one else does, so why not count walks?

I'm hoping for push because I like posts from both of you.

[Chief - do I get a penalty for being (1) a suck up; (2) not doing a game thread; (3) putting too many F'ng stats in my posts; and (4) for being a Red Sox fan?  Or do I just get penalized for too many semicolons?]

I'm cool with counting them. I just wanted to have it stated up front.

How does this sound: Losing by one base automatically limits the loser to 40 posts until the Nats return home on Friday. Any additional base adding to the margin subtracts 5 posts from the total so if I were to lose by 4 bases I would be limited to 25 posts total. What do you think? This will really hurt since we are both heavy contributors to game threads.

 I like it, sounds like a hilarious challenge. But the winner cannot taunt the loser.

:lmao:  You remind me of the little brother who is always trying to enact rules to protect his fragile feelings. My older brothers never let me get away with that crap and in turn I never let my younger brothers get away with it either. But I'm sure some of the other posters will do some taunting.  :whip:

Of course the other posters will do as they will. But I can't make you use all 25 posts to say "I did not star in Rocky Horror"

Ah, yes, the superior fan has been spotted behind first base.  You know, the guy who goes to a game and wears a hat and tshirt of a team that isn't playing.

Was Bob just making fun of the SD crowd for thinking that might be a home run?

I don't think he has the room to do that.
