I think the Redskins should sue over this- the NFL wouldn't pursue it for fear of violating Anti-Trust laws, and regardless would likely be fighting a losing battle.

It would be classic Colts to forgo Luck in favor of Griffin, just because. I wouldn't complain in that scenario.

Ah, Bach.    LOL    Thanks Linty.

Nice M*A*S*H* reference. I was thinking about M*A*S*H* the other day when I was looking at the Huey at the Udvar-Hazy center.

Roger Goodell inventing rules retroactively again than for no other reason than to be a dickhead to everyone. What a guy.

Wow... Didn't know anything about this. How the hell can they punish them when the league signed off on the contracts? If they didn't want it done, don't sign off on said contracts. I think we know Danny Boy isn't afraid to sue, so let's see what happens.

You can't tell me this wasn't planned. Almost exactly 1 day before free agency this happens? It's a load of bullcrap, a sham. On the other hand:

I worry that RG3 could be the next JaMarcus Russell.

As college players, they don't remind me of each other at all.

I watched much less CFB in recent years, but I saw the Russell bust coming from a mile away. I didn't see RG3 enough to have a strong opinion, but he didn't remind me of Russell.

He's a more intelligent guy than JokeMarcus and doesn't share many characteristics to him as a player, but if the crapihans are going to have him conform to "The System™" it's going to be a total disaster.  In other words, he might be a bust if the FORESKINZ draft him but it wouldn't be his fault.

He's a junior and will need to be PAID, I just meant a complete and total disaster for tons of cash cash money.

Am I to infer that you believe Griffin is a "System" quarterback?

Baylor was a spread system, so yes.

Think I've seen every TV episode but never saw the movie.

Then the problem isn't Shanahan's system. Frankly, if the only system Griffin can thrive in is the spread, he's just another Colt Brennan.

I see what you're saying but I think you're missing my clowning on crapihan and his Mythical System®.  I don't think RGIII is going to thrive in that kind of system (under center > 50% of the time) so it looks like we're on the same page.

LOL, so now the NFL docked 18mil off this year. Could have sworn they said we could split the money however we wanted. That being take it all this year, all next year, some this year some next. Interesting how they're making our decision for us.

Can't wait till the Redskins fight this, NFL is in for a rude awakening. Personally, think the reason they're docking it, is because next year we are so low, we can take almost all of the hit and still have like 20 mil to spend. They're trying to screw us, plain and simple.

I thought they had to take all of the penalty in either this season or next season.

I don't think RGIII is a system QB.

I think he'll be a solid NFL QB from day one.
