Bergmann is da shizzle  8)

Let him hit so he can pitch another inning...
Willis is getting SHELLED
101 PC, 5 INN, 10 HA, 2 BBI, 4 K, 7 ER, 12.600 ERA, 2.400 WHIP

I picked up John Maine after the trade, who is pitching a no-hit shutout ( crosses fingers )

I think it's hilarious when the pitchers wear the jackets.

MLB needs to learn from the NFL and NBA and incorporate instant replay

I agree with Don Sutton.  I don't like my pitcher standing up all that time.

Bergmann was on base for that entire at bat, now he has to go right back out and pitch!

WHy not. I swear, pitcher are some of the  most biggest pansies in sports. You have to worry about every little thing with them. Sensitive lil things they are

I don't really see him being a complete game pitcher under even the best of circumstances, but it would be nice if we could get one more inning out of him and hand it off to Wookie & Chief.

Big vote of confidence from Manny leaving Bergmann out there with 105 pitches and a leadoff single!

rotten luck for Bergmann.. 2 ground balls that go through for hits.  That 2nd one looked foul though.
