Slow ass day at work, so I'll be following.  I pretty much always have Charlie and Dave on the iPhone when at work anyway, but I've been paying less and less attention to it lately.

The wife (non-sports fan) wants to know who the weird looking guy with the dark hair is on Nats' Extra.   Says he has a "light bulb" head ... and there's that strange chick.    The wife is a critic  :)

Wood  ... now she's ragging on Lannan's waxed mono-brow and his bangs.    I hope she takes a nap soon.   She's ruining the mood (baseball that is).

Sure don't.  If anything I hope they lose out the rest of the way.  Now everyone can quote this post whenever it suits them to paint me as a "bad" fan in unrelated arguments.

Don't call him weird looking or else he is going to bash your wife on the air.

Yeah, I care.  They're still my team and there isn't many more opportunities for me to watch them til April...and there's no football on tonight.  It's either the Nats, Biggest Loser or Glee...

Well if you want to put it like that then sure...  I care enough to check the box score later.  Just not enough to set up my TV which has been sitting on the floor for the last week.

At least John lannan and Adam Dunn are playing. This might be one of few times left we get to see Adam Dunn. I'm sure next year we will be longing for the days of Adam Dunn, Austin kearns, and Ronnie Belliard.

I know what you're saying... but to mention Dunn in the same breath at those clowns is disgraceful.

big game for draft slots, could end the night just 1 game ahead of the Orioles, were 14 ahead when Showalter took over, guess Buck's hiring was part of Stan's plan to improve draft position

Bob is on his knees for Danny as well.

Well, 1433 sums to 11, so when Bally gets his first save, you and I will go to a game and sit in the 11 dollar seats, my treat! :lmao: I already owe you a burger and fries, remember.

I am surprised that you would post this.  I do understand the logic in losing and a better draft pick though.
