Look at the number of relievers that have been burned just because he used Henry Rodriguez.

I felt sick when H-Rod entered the game and already saw our 4 run lead disappearing.  H-Rod belongs no where near a game where we are ahead by less than 10 runs.

His last 2 outings? 0.0 IP, 2 ER, 4 BB

Quite the opposite.  I think SSB is saying - don't feel bad when Henry and MLB get divorced, it's the best for everyone.  He's gotten paid very well to be terrible at something because Nats management don't want to cut bait.  That's not fair to anyone.

Or put another way, he is being paid WAY more money than any of us make to perform as well as any of us could.  I would gladly take millions of dollars to hit the backstop a full three to four feet above the batter's head on a full count.  I could do that all day.  Where's my $$$?

Davey put this game in doubt by putting Henry Rodriguez in this game.  I watch a lot of mlb.tv and I don't believe I've seen a pitcher who is less capable of throwing a strike than Henry Rodriguez.  Daniel Bard, maybe.

Marmol. 9.49 BB/9

You shouldn't ever have to play the match-up game when you enter the 8th inning up four runs.

nothing annoys me more than the money card, so what he earned some cash, he's a human being and he isn't intentionally doing this to spite the orgaization.

be very clear i do not want him here anymore, but don't use his money as a reason to say you don't care that a guys career is falling apart

The problem is, he hasn't deserved to have a career. it's not falling apart, because it never existed. There are talented players that either don't get the chances or suffer an injury. I feel sorry for those guys. Henry is not a pitcher. He's just a guy that throws a ball hard and has been given opportunities he never should have been given and along the way made a lot of money.

To me, referring to HRod as a pitcher is like calling someone who hits a piano with a sledge hammer a talented musician. He stinks as a pitcher. It isn't just his mechanics or mental ability, he can't field the position and doesn't understand his responsibilities on the field.

Maybe H-Rod will be back in a couple of years as a position player....  Otherwise he better not be on our roster ever again.

It isn't just his mechanics or mental ability, he can't field the position and doesn't understand his responsibilities on the field.

He doesn't seem to understand anytihng other than throwing the ball as hard as he can and hoping it crosses the plate.  Just total garbage.
