Zach Day: 2-3, 5.85 ERA[/color]........................................................Sean Marshall: 2-1, 4.93

Quote
CHICAGO (Ticker) -- The Washington Nationals try to bounce back from their second shutout loss of the season when they visit the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday in the second contest of a three-game series.

Washington managed just four hits and suffered its fifth loss in six games with Tuesday's 4-0 defeat to Chicago. It was the Nationals' sixth loss in seven meetings with the Cubs dating to the start of the 2005 season.

Zach Day (2-3, 5.85 ERA) makes his seventh start of the season and his first appearance at Wrigley Field since April 8, 2003. He did not get a decision against Cincinnati on Thursday after yielding one run and seven hits in seven innings.

The Cubs counter with Sean Marshall (2-1, 4.93), who kept Barry Bonds from hitting his 714th homer last Thursday. However, he was tagged for nine runs and nine hits in 3 2/3 innings in a loss to the San Francisco Giants.

Chicago, which has won all five night contests at home this season, has just two victories in its last 14 games.

I'm almost positive this game is gonna go.  Rain cells are clearing from the Chicago area.

The way the Nationals are hitting, they couldn't score 4 runs in a week.
