Rendon triples to right center off the wall and breaks Billy Hamilton.

And it either hurt Hamilton's leg or tailbone, ouch.

I'm so happy this game is on MLB network.

Nice to see the minors prospects can't make good baserunning decisions either.

Rendon gets a play at third. Looked Zimmerman-esq going to second for the DP

What happened after Hamilton got hurt?

Rendon raced home on a swinging bunt with no outs, and was thrown out easily by the pitcher.

Whoops. Two baserunning blunders and a poor start for Nats players in this game.

I thought on the replay that Goodwin left right as the ball was caught.  It was close, though.  Both Goodwin and Rendon have nice swings.  Skole looked good in the field but got fooled on several pitches at the plate.  He needs time in the upper minors against better pitchers.

Ryan Perry is not good

So natural he'll be the closer next year.

As for Skole, I like his D. And if he can make such a smooth transition from third to first, maybe he can become a good utility player.

I've been maintaining for a long time that they're starting him simply so he can work on his control and secondary pitches

.338/.436/.494 vs .305/.419/.525

clearly based on numbers not reputation
