Nats in the 2012 Arizona Fall League

Ps Christian Garcia and Ryan Perry, IFs Anthony Rendon and Jason Martinson and OF Brian Goodwin will play in the fall league. 1 P, 1 IF TBA.

@BenBadler

Castellanos, Singleton, B. Hamilton, J. Baez, Rendon, Yelich, Wong, Marisnick among big names going to the AFL.

Amanda Comak is adding Paul Demny to the list.

midling relief prospects seem to be a staple of the nats afl contingent.  Last year we sent rafael martin and pat lehman for example.

Why is Demny going? Stat don't look so hot.

He has swing and miss stuff. He's mechanics were and/ or are a problem which causes him to have control issues. More than likely they are showcasing him.

Tonight is the first game. Rendon batting 3rd flew out to right his first ab.

Skole finished 3 for 5 and 1 walk, with a double and a homer and 3 RBIs

Goodwin (who no one mentioned) finished 2 for 5 and 1 walk with a homer

Perry went three innings, gave up 2 runs on 4 hits and 3 walks. Not a realy strong outing from him. I'm convinced that they're starting him so that he is forced to develop his secondary pitches.
