Hill just looks awful.  He's been disappointing.

He's a pretty easy out if you don't serve it to him.

and the Mets leadoff runner is now on 3rd with 2 outs - see the difference, the Mets leadoff hitter is always on 3rd with 2 outs and the Nats leasdoff hitter (if he ever gets on) is stranded on 1st.

Nowhere near as an easy out as anyone in our lineup and Delgado.

see but the thing about Milledge (and Dukes for that matter)is this.

He's got phenomenal talent, it's just unrefined. and he hasn't yet transformed from the player he *could be* into the player that he is.

so watching him mature and refine his game is going to be entertaining, if even a little frustrating at times.

with Kearns...Kearns is almost 30(I think). He is what he is. He's already the player that he is,and his "potential" barrier has run out.  he can't play on "potential" anymore. We thought he could possibly be more, and the team gambled on that.  but it is turning out that we were all wrong wrong about him.  which is highly disappointing.

Hill sucks.  Church is a freaking beast.  He'd be the best hitter in our lineup by a large margin.

Stupid with Delgado on deck.  You walk Church there.  We got fleeced in that trade.

that was an important run - now the game is over. I guess we have no plan against any team.

Because you are an idiot.  He is miles ahead of Milledge in every aspect of the game.

You have to give it to Hill. He pitched one of the most unintelligent games I have seen all season.  He let the terrible hitters beat him and did not pay any attention to who is on deck.

we didnt get fleeced on the trade. we need to examine if our coaching staff makes the decisions that allow us to stay in games. That run was so important. 2 runs down is so different than 3 runs down. it was 2 outs. we should have figured out how to get out of that inning. we didnt. Is Manny a good manager? Is st Claire a good coach? im not sure

Kearns is 28 next month. He's definitely disappointed so far, but there is no age limit for "finding it" at the plate. I haven't given up on him, but I do understand what a lot of people are saying w/ the youngster movement idea.

4th outfielder at best.
