Felipe's stats since going to the Cards:

G   PA  AB  R   H  2B 3B HR RBI  BB IBB  SO HBP  SH  SF GDP  SB CS   BA   OBP   SLG   OPS
+---+---+---+---+---+--+--+--+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+--+-----+-----+-----+-----+
   3  11  10   2   3  0  0  0   1   1   0   3   0   0   0   0   1  0  .300  .364  .300  .664

Not great, but not bad. I think he'll be a better player for them. I'm not a Felipe hater. He just didn't fit here, IMO.

It's 3 games. Give it time for the suck to set it.

There was some talk/laughter/mocking yesterday in the game thread about player predictions so on that note, another of AZ's boys, Livan Hernandez, got rocked for 9 runs in 2.2 IP in his Rockies' debut. He gave up 9 runs on 7 hits, 4 BB's and 2 HR. And this after Wells was designated for assignment to make room for Hernandez. Hernandez' ERA is almost as bad as Ayala's now.

Coors field is probably the worst place for Livan and his warning track fly-ball outs.

Fort Worth Cats ace Lee Gwaltney has a terrific .229 BAA after his fourteenth start; his ERA is 2.57, his record is 9-2 and he's only thrown 3 wild pitches in 91 innings so far this season.

As for team newcomer Aaron Crow ... well, he hasn't made his first start yet.

I'm sure the Beaumont Buffoons are tough competition.

:D The Shreveport Sports aren't. The Sports haven't won their tenth game of the year yet.

Crow is not a "former Nat", imo.

he's just some other pitcher now.

I see no reason to continue reporting on the guy.

I couldn't agree more with the last two posts. That motherfreaker never wore our uniform and clearly didn't want to so let's not call him a former National.

Felipe Lopez was clearly not putting in his best efforts in DC. As a punishment, the Cardinals will miss the playoffs.

Those sample sizes aren't exactly huge.  Even here, Lopez had a decent tear earlier in the year.  He's still a bum, as are the rest of those guys except Rauch.  I do agree that Lopez was half-assing it here though.

Luis went 1.1 innings to get the win tonight for the Mets.  He threw 10 strikes out of 13 pitches.  Im happy for him.

If Ayala actually pitches great for them down the stretch, I will give him a big F U for not trying when he was here.

Whatever, Hernandez helped us get the win today and has already done more than Ayala did here

Ayala and Lopez can form the Nationals Sandbag All Stars since they were sandbagging it here (a phrase I semi-made up, then I found it out it means to hide the truth about yourself to gain advantage, and sounds like a slow piece of crap).
