"conceivable...in the next few weeks."

Translating from Davey-speak:  Sure, if we clinch with 10 days to go in the year and I need somebody to start a game so I can get my playoff rotation lined up, I could put him out there.  Otherwise, that guy's not getting near a mound.

Lots of things are conceivable.  It's conceivable the Nats could win every game from now till the time they win the WS.  Not likely, though.

We should trade Wing Wand and Rizzo to the Redskins for .... an old football

and we can throw in FP  (The new Yes Man for Rizzo)

Last night he said Rizzo built the Nats Farm System....

Wang couldn't get AA batters out. Why would he start games up here in a race for the NL East?

This proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that Davey likes to lose games.

Well he's doing a crappy job of it this year.

Wang is starting Sunday.... Such a bad move, I would have went with Stammen.

Wang is going to get slaughtered by Braun and Co.

Wang is getting a spot start due to the doubleheader or something ...

Wang is getting a spot start due to the doubleheader or something ...

It was either Wang or use Stammen. Davey says he doesn't want to lose Stammen from his normal role of two / three inning reliever...would take Stammen a few days to recover from a start.

Only other choice would be to let Zach Duke start. Davey says that CMW has looked better in practice throwing. Wang says that McCatty has given him some important advice.

I saw CMW pitch two or three weeks ago and his sinker wasn't sinking. Closed my eyes and it was like listening to a thunder storm as the AA Bowie Baysox bashed hit after hit...line drives all.

However, I've learned to trust Davey's judgement over mine. Davey must have a plan...

They all can't be home runs, you know. We will finally find out about Mr. Wang this Sunday. This is really, really, his last chance.

Let's hope his sinker really sinks hard. If it does, the Brewers are a pretty good team to throw him against.

It wasn't as bad as previously. But it wasn't good. You need more than 4 innings from a starter.

Will he get another start?

I didn't see him pitch, but listening to C&D in the car it sounded like he was mostly unlucky, getting his ground balls at a good rate but some finding their way through at inopportune moments.  And the sun thing of course.  But, also sounded like the cumulative weight of it all got to him and he started to get hit hard at the end.

He's not likely to see any more action anyway for us, is he?
