We can't get back in this game if we retaliate by scoring half of what they score.

Austin gets punished and Church hits a long fly ball.. And our embarrassing hitting with RISP woes continue.. Bases loaded and no outs last inning and we got 1 run, two runners on and no outs and we got zero this inning (after scoring 1 on Zim's hit).

It looked like it might carry out. It may have gone out to LF.

OK because I'm not into throwing deliberately at batters unless the opponent pitcher is beaning our players purposely.
I don't think it's intentional - he has NO control, which is why we will win, as bad as Chico has been.  We have 1 Church and 2 Jesus'.  These are smelly Fish, who expect to LOSE.

I agree with both of you, which is why I said "give him one more chance," but you still can't deny that fear of being hit gives Sanchez an advantage, whether the other two hits were intentional or not.  You can't just let your guys get walked all over.  It's probably a moot argument anyway, Manny doesn't strike me as the type to order a hit, and we all know Chico isn't gonna take the initiative.

Chico is so worried about keeping the ball down that it is causing him to throw too many balls.  Wow, finally a scoreless inning from Matt.

Yeah I know.  The last 2 years Schneider has taken many days off even though we had mediocre back up catchers (Fick, Bennett, Harper) and now when we actually have a decent hitting back up catcher (Flores), Schneider plays almost every day.

On the Marlins broadcast, they just interviewed a Marlin fan celebrating his 99th birthday.  You know you're old when your age is greater than the attendance.

Why couldn't Zim make that same stop earlier in the game?

As good as Zim's defense is, he really seems to make alot of costly mistakes.

Nice inning Matt.  I don't know what Boone's complaint was there, that pitch was right down the middle.
