What's your record at the park?
« Topic Start: September 13, 2011, 11:47:42 AM »
I know fans who go to a lot of games like to keep their personal won-loss record for games they've attended. Now that the season is winding down, maybe it would be fun to share our personal records.

Done on the honor system. I'll start. The Sunshiny attitude hasn't helped me. My personal record so far this year is 9-13. Given that the Nats home record this year is well above .500, my record kind of sucks, no?

I keep my record in my signature.

'08: 4-5; '09: 6-1; '10: 4-3; '11: 3-4

overall: 17-13. I think I've witnessed 3-4 walkoffs... Ramos' vs Mariners most recently.

Wow. You even kept the scores. Impressive. I just keep the record in my head and sometimes I even forget that!

But your record even sucks worse than mine.:~)

Had to look back over the schedule but my record at Nats Park this year is 23-15, 24-17 overall for the Nats, and 33-26 for the home team. 1-0 at Busch Stadium, 0-1 at Kauffman, 1-0 at GCS Ballpark, 2-3 at Camden, 1-3 at Pfitzner, 2-0 at Municipal Stadium, 0-1 at Regency Furniture Stadium, 2-0 at Sun Life Stadium, 0-1 at Ripken Stadium, 1-0 at PG County Stadium, 1-1 at Harry Grove Stadium, 1-1 at PNC Park, and 0-1 at Metro Bank Park. I also watched a retro baseball game in a field in Leesburg but I don't remember who batted second so we will just say it was 2 more games I watched but doesn't count towards any record.

Hmm...it never occurred to me to keep track of the record. My gut reaction is that I have been luckier this year. Interesting thread.

Those are not the scores.

Those are the records with the various teams.

I have gone to far fewer games this season than I have in the previous 6 years.  I was 0 - 3 at one point, but am now 2 - 4.

1-1. NANF. I fully expect this to be thrown in my face during some argument.

I decided not to renew my mini-plan in protest (even shiners have standards). I then planned to go to a lot of random games but this has been the busiest year I can remember. It's been weird how the Nats schedule has been this year. My free time has lined up pretty perfectly with Nats road trips. :|

Edit: I thought we were just doing this year. I have been to many more games in previous years, but I haven't kept track of my record.

Sadly, I can't get to .500 even if I go to every remaining home game (which I probably will do) and we run the table.

I just realized this thread serves another purpose. Lets others see how many games we've been too.

Yes, I know. I'm a little slow.:-)

I've had amazing luck in person at Nats Park. I've got at least a 66% winning percentage over about 25 games. Games I've seen have included:

Zim's walk-off HR on Opening Day.
Belliard's walk-off HR against the O's.
Dukes' walk-off walk against the Cards.
Strasburg's debut.
Dunn's walk-off HR against the Phils, his last HR as a Nat.
Espinosa's walk-off HR (I think against the M's, could be wrong).
Ankiel's two HR game against the Cards.

0-2, but both were road games.  Watched Lannan carve up the Cardinals for 8 innings and outduel John Smoltz in what I think was his Cards debut.  Listened to Cards fans try and figure out who the heck John Lannan was.  Then  :bball: served up a walk-off bomb to Pujols.  That sucked.  I do remember Zim hitting a rocket off the right center wall.

Then the next night the Cards pounded the Nats but Dunn hit a moonshot and I had a great seat and gave a "Yo, what's up" to a Nats fan keeping score the next section over.

Was going to stay for the Sunday game but it would have been 2 am before I got home so I decided to skip it and head home after church with some friends and listen to it on the radio.  Nats lost 2-1.  Mock had one of his better performances in the Bigs.

Hoping I can make it to a game or two next summer.  We'll see how the finances look.

I'd have to look carefully at the fixture lists overall, but since I normally attend about 65-70 matches a season, the Nats' record with TBSITH occupied by its ticketholder-of-record probably isn't that much different from the team's overall home record (haven't seen them on the road as yet).

I was lucky enough to be at the game when we mounted an impressive comeback against the Cardinals capped by a Morse walk-off homerun; followed shortly after by the unbelievable game against the Mariners (Ramos walk-off). I've blacked out the rest of the games I've been to.

You and me both.  That Cardinals game is still on my DVR.  Definitely one of the high points of this season.

Stairs walk-off double on Canada Day, the 9th inning comeback against the Mariners, taking the series with game 3 against the Phlegmbuckets on 01 June, and that epic 10-0 beatdown of the Cardinals were the best ones this year.

Cards, Mariners and the Phillies walk-offs are top 3 this year, fairly easily, IMO.
