Salomon Torres is very undderated. A nice closer.
??  The guy is horrible.  Last night he pitched 1/3 of an inning and gave up 4 hits and 2 earned runs.  Soon after the game Jim Tracy yanked the closing job from him.

Huh? Check out his ERA, it's over 5. He's been getting shelled since that nice April he had. He's basically Pirates version of Jorge Julio or Armando Benitez. We wasted an opportunity that inning. I hope he comes back in the 9th so Z-Man and company can get something going.

There was no excuse.  That was a bad half inning for us.

The P-burgh announcers say the demotion is probably temporary. They traded Mike Gonzalez because they were confident in Torres. He's a good pitcher - remember Chad had a really tough stretch - look how he pitched tonight.

Torres has been bad all season.. It's not like he is their "future" either.  The guy is 35 years old.

Hey, that Tundra commercial was allllright.  Hot lady, Nats gear, no BS.  One of the few commercials I've ever seen that I didn't absolutely hate, even if she was hawking toyotas.
