Next (not so) bold prediction:  Batista fails to hold onto the bat with 2 hands and chases strike 3 in the dirt.

I love being wrong!

We'll get a token comeback run, but then we won't come through with the tying run on base.

Damn damn damn, I really hate being right.

EDIT:  Safe to say I know this team all too well (or bad).

wow, whatever.

I think that "stretch" of going 6/7 is going to the highlight of our season.

And the Barn Swallows Take The Series.  The only choice left for the Nats to save face tommorow is to CRUSH them with an offensive juggernaught scoring 12 to 0.

That was crap. The only nice thing to see was Schneider's throw and King's tag of the runner.

I'm furious. We lose the game due to lack of offense and some shaky relief pitching and on a personal level I just had something really screwed up happen.

I might just have to take it out on a couple of Orioles fans tomorrow, and my brother is not necessarily exempt from the list...

Ugh, what a frustrating game, yet again.

Manny really mismanaged this one.  Why did he pinch hit Batista in place of Langerhans?  Langerhans hasn't been setting the world on fire, but he's better than Batista, and at least keeping him in the game doesn't downgrade your overall defense.

Just got back from the game.  This team is in the gutters once again.  Manny has really been pissing me off lately.  He uses our entire bench by the end of 9 innings and whenever a game goes into extra innings we are left with an even worse lineup than normal.

I am ticked that Rauch blew the 1 run lead but I do not blame him for the loss because our @#$%$#@ offense should have scored more than one @$#%$^@# run.  And I really do not know what the $%$# happened to Abreu.  He literally threw 10-15 sliders in a row without throwing a fastball.  What in the hell was he thinking?

Regardless, when you only give up 1 run through 9 innings and only 3 runs through 11 innings, you should win the damn game.  Zimmerman, Kearns, Church, Lopez, Schneider. They were all completely overmatched at the plate tonight.  I just do not get this team.
