What kind of car racing is it when you see them looking like little go carts on big back wheels with some table looking thingie on top of it?

Brian Sanches is credited as the winning pitcher.  Making friends fast, buddy!  I'll bet he's glad to get out of Philly's bandbox!

A WIN ON 3 HITS (one huge hit and two timely hits), I'LL TAKE IT!

-wily mo with his long awaited first homer and it was a LASER :pimp:

-best young player in baseball with a rbi double  :pimp:

-catcher of the future with a 2 run double  :pimp:

and thank you to j.j. hardy for misplaying that potential inning ending double play!

solid win!

I bet Colome and Hanrahan are ****ing their pants. A guy just called up from AAA was used in a tied game in his first outing.  Sanches is already higher on the chain of relievers after only 1 outing than JC and Joel.

From Nats Journal:

"We've gotten word that Dukes has left the game with a left ankle contusion"

it's been a longgggggggggg homer hiatus for wily mo, 144 at bats to be exact. the anticipation (aggravation) has been building and he finally unleashed!

Good job Brian Sanches striking out three to pick up the win, and good job Pena, Zimmerman and Flores helping us acquire more runs than we got hits!

You can show yourself (temporarily, at least), spidernat.

I said I would sport the bag until the Nats win 3 in a row (it could be a while).

YES!!!!  That's it!  Thank you!  I've never seen them before last night when my husband was flipping channels after the game.  I saw that think and was like "what the heck are those?"  So, what's behind the weird design?

Spoilers are used for stability. But why a front spoiler and a huge spoiler on top I have no idea.

I would assume that they are rear engine vehicles that only make left turns and maybe the top spoiler acts as sail to push air onto the front to keep it from rising up. But that is a WAG.

Great Game Last NIGHT!  Yay!

Sorry Tom, I went up to the loft around 6:30 or so, and kind of gave it a once over.  Didn't see or recognize anyone there.  I had initially thought it started at 7 instead of 7:30 and hadn't eaten yet.  So I went to 5 Guys to get burgers and fries and sit in the seat.
