Lannan with another quality start and no run support to show for.  Poor guy.

I know it was one outing, but lol at you all who thought Speigner is a changed man.  I hope to god he's not with this organization next season.  Just say no to mr. batting practice.

Too little too late: Milledge with the nice hustling triple.  And zim kept his hitting streak alive!  Gonzalez tough game: 0-for-3 with 2 k's.

Easy, dude. It was 1 outing and I thought his stuff looked really sharp. He was throwing 93-94 with his fastball and his slider looked good.

As either sportsfan or spidernat said earlier, glad to see Montz up here, although it came at this cost.  I would like to see Leonard Davis get a call up for a few starts/pinch hits @ 2b/lf.

Ha, you sh!t on Shell and he's proven throughout the whole year he's been a force for us.

Speigner comes in and let me have my moment to bash him.  I'll eat crow when if he proves me wrong.  I have the utmost confidence I'll be right though, unfortunately.

Has anyone mentioned that Clippard, O'Connor and Wagner were recalled yet?

Technically, but they won't join the team though.

true it's a move all teams make.  it's stupid though and very confusing for most people.

I am actually a little bit confused by it as well.  Wasn't Clippard already on the 40-man roster or did I miss something?

Rough game to watch. Whoever runs the between inning stuff on the jumbotron should be smacked. I couldn't believe they ran one of their comedy bits while Flores was being prepped for a stretcher ride. Unbelievable. Hamels owned this lineup tonight and we made some stupid blunders. Hinckley looked real good. Definitely the best part of the night.

Maxwell was recalled then placed on the 60-Day so there was a roster spot for Montz.
