Acta looks emotionless in the press conference. just said it was very deflating to score that many runs and lose.

couldn't be any worse. at least these guys have fire and passion unlike Acta.
That's probably the biggest nut-slap, Manny just sits there like he could care less.  Get PISSED, get yourself ejected, throw a bat at Joel!

Manny doesn't give a damn. He looks relaxed as can be.

What a joke.

His answer tells me he is a puppet. The FO needs to answer for why this crap is being thrust upon the community.

yep, he's not even angry like he was after that game against Florida a few weeks ago.

he said that he will have to re-evaluate Joel as closer later because he doesn't want to make a move off of emotion right now.

I freaking hate Kasten. He hides from the media and we never hear from his stupid ass unless he is pushing some mindless promotion or inviting Philly fans to come to our park.

Manny just trashed Joel without saying anything committal. It seems like he is sick of it, but is in no position to make decisions.

Yeah, Ray knows that that is the way that real baseball organizations act. So he assumes that the FO will do something that pretends to look like one.

What are the consequences of starting a riot at nationals park with pitchforks and torches screaming for The Nationals Organizations head?

What emotion?  Joel can't throw strikes, and has blown more games than he has saved.  Logic dictates that he is not your closer.  Though I don't know who else could be our closer.

that's what needs to be done but there aren't nearly enough hardcore angry fans to do that.

most like some posters on here couldn't give a crap win or lose. with fans like them the team can lose forever with no backlash.

Or getting his message out through Nats320. Kasten gives more access to a suck up blogger than he does to the beat reporters. His carnival act needs to go.

I get seriously depressed watching this team.  Maybe I should sue the Lerners for that.  All I know is they'd better have my brand of beer in stock when I get off of work, I'm going to need it.

On another note, last I saw Zimmy was batting .299 with 4 homers

Hopefully it continues onto 17 game hitting streak

that's the sad thing. RZ is on pace to have a monster year. Dunn looks poised for a CAREER year. Dukes is breaking out. Flores is playing well. Kearns has been decent.

and despite all that we are 4-14.

Heres the bullpen

Hanrahan = 3 blown games
Rivera = 2 blown games

Bergmann, Hinckley, [other generic bullpen names here] = walks walks walks

Our bullpen is many reasons why we lose along with our clutch hitting.

But so far, 5 games have been ACTUALLY blown by our relievers while a few others have been helped out because of a run or two given up on walks

Yeah, the lineup has been putting up monster stats. We haven't had this many guys with BAs and OBPs like this before. It's the garbage pitching staff.

I'm still mad we didn't hire Rick Petersen when he was canned by the Mets during last season.

i'm speechless now.  what a terrible loss.

work tomorrow is going to be the ultimate worst.

1) i can't believe they gave away two 4-run leads.

2) i can't believe joel hanrahan is still the closer.

3) i can't believe manny acta still has a manager job in the big leagues.

4) i can't believe the lerners can wake up every morning in their bed full of $100 bills and then shower (i bet they shower together to save money) and then actually look themselves in the mirror (but @ nats park there aren't a lot of mirrors in the bathroom, once again thanks to the cheapage).

there ya go ... 4 things ... for as many freakin wins we have this year.  4-14.  18 games and just 4 freakin wins.
