Holy Crap.  4 AB, 4 HR, 7 RBI.

Syracuse up 11-0 in the 7th, he ought to get another couple of shots.

Former 1st round pick of the Indians. Solid depth guy... But ideally someone you'd never want on your MLB roster.

True, we have too much power on our club already.

Audrey isn't a HR hitter, though.

Released by the Os after last year.  Was a prospect at one time (Kinston, right).

Neither was Bautista of the Blue Jays until last year.

from Kevin Goldstein, Baseball Prospectus

Quote
Michael Aubrey, OF/DH, Nationals (Triple-A Syracuse)

I was sure that I wrote about the aged Aubrey at some point last year after a huge game. I did, and now the 29-year-old does it again. The 11th overall pick in 2003, Aubrey looked like a future middle-of-the-order bat with hitting ability, walks, and above-average power, but a balky back too often put him on the disabled list;,he didn't play more than 100 games in a season until 2008. Heading into Saturday's game against Durham, Aubrey's career looked to be nearing the end with averages of .203/.319/.220, but then he went bonkers with four home runs and seven RBIs to lift his OPS 277 points over the course of four at-bats. I don't know what it is about guys like Aubrey, but I really like rooting for them. Failed first round picks are a dime a dozen, but the guys who stick around forever looking for that one more chance, or just because they love the game, or sometimes both, they're a bit of a rarity and I hope he has some monster game in 2012 to get another mention.

Showing some love for a guy who is not a prospect but hitting well in AAA.

184 AB, .272 / .375 / .484, 10 HR to lead the Chiefs, 30 BB / 24 Ks (great eye), 30 RBI.

got multiple ABs in only 3 of the last 10 games, so he is really just AAA roster filler DH while Marrero gets the ABs at first.

Bring him up to be the big RH bat off the bench.  Let Marrero play every day.

Aubrey is left handed, though.

HE would not be a bad complement to Morse.  I think if two of the lefty OFs cool (or if Nix or Ankiel is traded), you may see him up.

Bingo!!!! We have a winner!!! If the team needs a LH PH, why not make it Aubrey and "promote" Stairs to hitting coach?

If not, then hire Tino Martinez, who is the same age as Stairs and who looks in better shape. (No...not entirely serious. After Tino hit a HR off of David Cone in the Yankees old-timer game, somebody asked him if he was ready to come back. He joked that it would take a few months to get into shape, and it would help if every pitcher purposely threw one down Broadway as a favor, just like Coney did.)
