well that one pitch was the difference between winning and losing. Nolasco just threw the ball down the plate because he had such a large lead. he could afford to give up a few runs. Pitching with a big lead is A LOT different than pitching in a close game.
lannan got us in that hole! our offense did fine that day.

fine is a relative word. sure they scored runs but they could have scored more. same with today and yesterday. 3-4 runs isn't enough. Why can't we score 8-10 runs on occasion like most teams?

Sportsfan you do a lot of criticizing about this team and claim were going to get smoked. And if it happens you say i told you so and complain even more. We all know what were supposed to do but nagging about every player isnt going to do anything. They know what they did wrong, they didnt score. It sucks watching but we can't do anything, its up to them.

Now, that said, were going to beat Lowe because we need to, who cares what he did prior to facing us.

it's a two-way street ... something's gotta give either the pitching is terrible or the hitting is that good to get that many runs.  on monday our hitting was good - their pitching was okay - but OUR pitching was terrible.  yesterday neither our offense or defense were good.  today we had a chance for our pitching to be good, but it wasn't.  our offense missed on huge opportunities (willingham and belliard really freaked us today), but still produced a lot of walks and hits.
