Yeah that way he could go the distance and yield 9 runs. 
That's about as bad as thinking that it's better to have a 12 pitch at bat resulting in an out over a 1 pitch double.
It doesn't matter. I'm not saying that every inning. Just an inning once in awhile. It won't matter, because our bullpen has to pitch 4 innings tonight.
