That's Strasburg's hobby.  When Strasburg is on the job, nobody walks.

I was watching 'Morning Joe' this morning and Scarborough hammered Harper for his 'punkiness' and made mention of him pushing his helmet off of his head while running to second (on Sat. night).  Also made comments about him taking  a couple of fastballs to the back if he doesn't change (paraphrasing here).

Nobody complained when Dmitri would throw his helmet off.

Kornheiser was making a big deal out of it too, really folks have too much time on their hands if they are worrying about it (though Tony was more alarmed by his hair cut than the helmet flip).

Figure he'd be worried about hair. Again something he has zero knowledge of.

I doubt Kornheiser even watches sports.

In his defense, at least he doesn't claim to be an expert unlike most hosts in this city

Bryce has embraced the showy-athlete mold. Stephen Strasburg he's not. He's more a protege of Neon Dion Sanders than he is of any baseball player you could name.

I'm okay with that. It'll be interesting.

Tony Kornholer should shove 73 M-80s up his asspipe and do the world a favor.

I loved Kornheiser's radio show when he was on ESPN 'round the turn of the century...

I liked his yearly article with the best names in the NCAA tournament.  I think he stopped doing that around 15 years ago.

Why the hate on Tony K?

PTI is awesome.

MNF however was a disaster.

Alot of talk about Harper and brawling on this thread - so do you really think he would brawl with the possibility of Davey Johnson is his face!  I don't think so.... But let's see how the Phillies games go this week-end - that could be dicey...........I'm just sayin.....   :stir:

He should be batting 3rd tonight with Adam LaRoche behind him.

if harper belongs here now then what has moore done to make it so it shouldn't be his time too?  he has hit 30 bombs the last two years and had 7 when he was called up.  that sounds pretty damn good to me and we could clearly use a bat like that in the lineup.

well he wasn't drafted number 1 overall, so normal sitting behind terrible vets rules apply to him

I saw last night his throw home from LF was clocked at 84 MPH.  Wow.

3-4.  there is no competition for him for NL ROY.  as long as he stays with the big league club, he has it in the bag
