Holy crap. Depressed I missed going to the game, was piddling around and picked up a tablet curious. 2-0 in the first. Everyone, please meet John Lannan. And the reason I never want to see him in a Nats uniform ever, ever again.

It's so weird watching other teams' pitchers throw strikes.   :?

So is the farm system for the Nats depleted?
Yes, especially at the upper levels.

Braves minor league trash: one inning, 3 outs.

John Lannan little league trash: one inning, the eighth batter in the on deck to lead off with a HR in the second. Aka three hits, two walks and seven ABs.

They really, really, really should have.

Here's the scariest part. Lannan usually only sucks the second time through the batting order. First time, he's awesome.

Saying that, what the freak is going to happen right now as guys get a second look at him? Not going to be fun, unless he gets a clue and calms down. Chances of that?

OK, this is too painful to watch.

This is cringe-worthy, like passing by a bad car accident.

We're, as I said early on this season,  not ready for prime time.

All those one-run wins in the beginning of the year were a mirage, a quirk of fate.

This is reality.

Wow! One inning, only 12 batters through six outs. Only half the guys up stranded/scored.

Of course, the Braves have now scored SEVENTEEN runs in a timeframe we scored... one?
