Pumpkin itself, alone, doesn't really have any flavor. It does add a little bit of smoothness to the mouthfeel.
Next year, I'll add some canned pumpkin, for you.
All this pumpkin talk is making me itchy to crack open a bottle of my holiday ale (dark ale plus holiday/pumpkin spices), I bottled a week ago, so I guess it's time to crack one to test carbonation/whatever other excuse
