Ahhhh! one of my favorite events during the year.  on city hall plaza.  In the run up to 7/4, they have chowderfest, which is chowder sampling from around town.  Also a bit treat!  enjoy the game (except the end result).

Lombo/Harper are 1 & 2 on the club in Average and OBP among everyday players.  Harper is 1st in slugging percentage.

The kid should be voted to the All-Star team.

I'm loving this season.

Such an amazing ride from 2009 to now and deep down I'm not even suprised. This team just knows how to win. Are we going to win 95 and make the playoffs? I don't know, but I do know we'll finish with the first winning record in franchise history and it will be a memorable season I'll tell my kids about. This is when the turnaround hits overdrive.

The second half of 2009 I felt the future was bright. 2010 I could see the future looked amazing. Last year showed a ridiculous future.

Although I was ridiculed by many posters along the way, I am glad I have never given up faith. The future is great for this franchise.

I had a major repeat performance tonight after LaRoche's homer. His homer caused that will outburst of nerdy-ness in Chicago as well

Who was this? Milledge, Dukes?

......We just don’t have any problems now,” said Zimmerman, who’s seen cliquish Nat teams, disrespected managers and flammable-to-felonious teammates, including one nicknamed “tri-polar.”

And I also felt all along this year, at least so far, the Nats have a really good clubhouse atmosphere and chemistry. You do get the sense they really enjoy playing together.

Good guesses..."felonious" would lead us to Dukes. But, for me, "tripolar" speaks to no one but the one and only TPlush.

Those are surely the main two candidates, but I'd add that Young, Livan, Kearns, and Olsen were no choir boys and that Lopez, Bacsik, Rauch, Guillen, Fick, and Church were all touched in the head.

Fortunately we had the straight arrow Joey Eischen to keep everyone in line.
