Livan - 6 IP, 7 H, 3 ER, BB, 3 K

It goes down as a quality start and he really was pretty solid.  Allowed an two out RBI in the bottom 6th, which obviously did us in and he wasn't as sharp as he was last Sunday ... but it's a quality start and he gave us a chance.

Jimenez gave up two runs, but we let him off the hook multiple innings.

Bruney ... well I'll leave it at: Bruney being Bruney

Let Teddy Run!  Stop rigging the results!

The Rockies are 4th in the NL in runs scored, and we got the first homer of the year off today's pitcher.  If Bruney doesn't break the game open for them, our batters come to the plate feeling they still can win, with adrenaline flowing.  Maybe we pop one out to tie it, and them pull it a win as they're deflated.

It was a winnable game against their best pitcher.  Bruney's got to go.

Riggleman doesn't need to force a move. He can just not bring Bruney into the game. Duh.

But he can't carry a player on the 25-man roster that he never uses.  Of course, when Brian Bruney enters the game, Riggleman has essentially given that game up.

He can bring in a bench player to pitch instead, then Rizzo well get the message
