The Nats are being beat by probably the best pitcher in MLB right now. Even before this game, his ERA was under .70. No one else has figured Halladay out yet this season either.

From what I just saw, he stumbled through an inning. He got bailed out by the Phillies. 21 pitches, only 9 for strikes.

lannan was good today. i'll be more than happy if we get that kind of a start every time out from lannan. halladay is just a beast. we got shut down by a hall of fame pitcher - there's not much shame in that.
