This is Bermann's biggest inning of the game.

That thread was preposterous.  Bergmann has been very solid this year and I think he is a lock for a spot in the rotation next year.  His opp. batting average against led the league at one point

Not as preposterous as some of the real intelligent doosies you've posted.  It was a discussion on one game with a variety of opinions.  NO ONE is a lock at this point.  Your only fooling yourself.

Anyways, completely forgot about the day game.  I can actually check in on this one and it looks like our offense took some juice last night.....orange juice.

all the pitches seem to go soft when the offense gives them leads ... i mentioned this a long time ago but someone needs to keep reminding our pitches that they only have a 1 run lead no matter what the score, maybe that way they will stay focused

Flores' almost-homer just reminds me how much this new stadium will help the overall mentality of this team.

I finally get to see Chris Marrero play w/ the P-Nats next week. Hopefully he'll be the great power hitter this franchise has been missing.

You need to make a report about that game and him.  Love keeping tabs on this kid.

Miguel Cabrera is seriously a younger version of Carlos Lee...especially against the Nats

The best way to help himself is get back out that mound and shut this team down. This is two games in a row the offense has come up big for him.

Yeah, it's famine, then feast, for Bergmann. At least he's got a "quality start" under his belt today.

 No way, sorry.  That card is my newest baby. ;)  I suggest either buying a bunch of Bowman card packs, finding a singles dealer, or Ebay.  They are getting pricey on Ebay.

Zimmerman is the only starter without a hit.

Did you seriously get that in a pack or did you buy it as a single?

better; I wanna say 10 feet in or so in center. And it should carry better as well.

It appears that the dimensions will only be slightly better for hitters but the big thing will be how the ball will travel in the park which should be considerably better. It will probably be a neutral park, I hope.

Great to see a starter w/ a low pitch count in the 7th.

WTF, Bergmann was barely around 80 pitches and was already showing signs of getting shelled.

Luke Scott, a few years down the line, ends up so great on all baseball video games. I'm starting to understand why.

I'd give him a B on his start. Almost a B+.

This is the wall for our entire starting rotation. Even on their good days, they almost always peter out right about now.

And it doesn't seem to have anything to do with pitch count.  They can have relatively low pitch counts but can't get through seven and certainly not eight or nine innings.
