Great stop Batista!  DP!

If that had been Young he would not have made that play.

in our last 10 games (5-5) opponents needed on average 3.44 baserunners to score 1 run. The 10 games before that (3-7) opponents needed 2.91 baserunners per run. What this shows, I think, is that our pitchers are learning how to pitch out of jams.

It's taking too many attempts just to make one post with the problems we've been having.

I seem to have better luck by clicking on Back and then Post or Save, instead of Refresh.  But I have to do that several times sometimes.  Somebody here said to do CTL-F5 when you're not posting, to clear the cache.

We have also had better fielders, with players returning from DL and one reason they got Langerhans.  There were probably a lot of hits recorded that would have been outs with better fielding.

Tony Batista averaged 31 homers per year when he played full time.

Does this team watch film of opposing pitchers because it always seems, regardless of who they're going against, as if they've never seen them before?

Chico got 2 hits Saturday.  Did anyone notice that Chuck James is pitching a PERFECT GAME? (Jinx, jinx.)  I dumped him from my fantasy team, because the world learned that he could be OWNED!

Chico breaks up the no-hitter.    The rest of the team should be ashamed.
