It looks like he got the side to me, that is some BS if they aren't going to call that and they give some of these unbelievable calls to 2B on double plays when they don't even touch the bag.

I would like the red uni's the best if they got rid of the number on the front of the jersey.

There shouldn't be "area" plays anywhere.

You're preaching to the choir but the reality is that they allow area plays at 2B.

Yes.

It's like traveling in the NBA. It's a bad example and it sucks.

Thank god we are giving Guzman every chance he undeserves! Too bad the team doesn't have a better player on the bench!

Yes.

So then why tell me that if you could reasonably deduce that I already knew it? :P

I understand, but the point of area plays is to avoid injury.  Atilano most likely just missed the bag, but all the same he would have put himself at risk of injury by stepping on the bag because of the trajectory and the proximity of the baserunner..  Either way, he got the side of the bag in my SD feed  8).

Sounds like I should watch the replay later. Atilano has already had one of the best starts of the year, regardless of what happens later.

That's decent but I would restrain from being a hammonds copycat and wait to see how the kid develops. Why is it that Carpenter can pronounce Atilano's first name correctly but Debbi Taylor cannot?!  :bang:

  I can't recall the last time she got a tough one right.  That lady has some of the worst diction I have ever heard.

True but Luis isn't really a tough one, or is it? I'm sure she secured the job (and keeps it) but demonstrating her "other" diction skills.

Carpenter jinxed the crap out of our defense.
