I've been a defender of HRod but enough is enough.  Playoff teams don't develop a guy at the majors.  At this point he might actually pass through waivers.

Scary thought - he may be pitching in the World Series in a few months.......

Bite your tongue.    Why in the world would he be pitching for us in the WS?

I hope Rizzo is smart enough to not include him on the post-season roster (if he's even still around at that time - he should get DFAd).  But who knows?  He's survived this long...

I get the distinct impression that Rizzo is picking the team (HRod at least) and not DJ.  A guy that stubborn might not change post-season.

On a team that's trying to go 20 games over .500, the presence of Henry Rodriguez on the roster is an embarrassment.

Maybe Rizzo is showing that his Nats are so good they can go 20 games over .500 EVEN with HRod on the 25 man roster.

You may be right, but Rizzo's got realize that Henry is a huge liability at some point.  I was trying to give Henry a chance, and I still think he has great potential, but I don't know how they've stuck with him this long.  My patience has definitely worn out, and Rizzo doesn't strike me as the most patient person in the world...

I'm pretty sure he's gone when Werth and Tracy get back soon.  No point in making a move until then even though I want to gouge the eyes everytime he comes up.  I doubt he's coming in any game that we don't have a 5+ run lead.  He's in a 8-0 ball game to save the true bullpen guys.

Harper is developing at the majors.

When is he going to have time to make the quantum leap into his age 20 season like Trout did?  :nervous:

We're still carrying eight relievers, so I think (hope) you're right in that H-Rod's gone as soon as someone gets back from the DL.

GM sets the roster (usually with some consulation with the manager) and the manager decides how to use the guys.

He was in a 4-0 ( or was it 5-0) last night (or was it the night before) and put the real bullpen under serious pressure.

Wine.  Love it.

When we're playing in the World Series this fall, when a batter needs to be hit by a pitch, H-Rod will be brought in.
