Was anyone else not all that impressed by Detwiler? I only got to watch the first 3 innings and they were hitting the ball really hard off him, just right to our fielders :)

missed the freaking game tonight, sigh....

I could really get used to this winning thing.

FWIW, last year we won 69 games.  So given we're 44-43 right now.  We simply need to go at least 26-49 the rest of the way to improve.

I think we can do that.

I predict we will finish at 83-79. That would be phenomenal for this club I feel like.

i had 75 wins in the predictions thread.  I'm leaning more toward 75-80 now.

Almost 2 months ahead of 2009 and 1 month ahead of last year.

Strasburg and Harper (and Rendon) had better be worth all that miserable losing.

To reach Linty's preseason prediction we need to go 15-60
I think, e.g., 34-41 is totally achievable [78-84].

Mark Zuckerman says:

How the #Nats have scored their last 6 runs: groundout, walk, wild pitch, fielder's choice, error, infield single.

I can't believe we're doing all this with Jayson Werth and Ian Desmond lost at the plate and Ryan Zimmerman struggling to get up to speed after missing so much time.

I wasn't terribly impressed, but he did get a reasonable number of ground balls and he didn't appear to be having a lot of control issues.  Plus, as they said, he's a lefty throwing 94-95. I'm willing to give him a couple more chances before giving him the boot, even though I suspect he'll end up being just as effective as Atilano.

My only concern is can he keep up with throwing across his body like that.
