The Nats top 4 starters have a sub 3.00 ERA, that's happened like three times in history. And the Pen has been rock solid. The answer is, with pitching like that, it can last a long time.
Not only are our starters fantastic but what about our closer - Clippard has allowed 1 hit and no runs since he assumed the position and he's 12 for 12 in save chances. Not to mention that Stammen and Burnett are also sensational.
Wasn't Ross a deadline aquisition for the Giants? Our Cody Ross could still be out there somewhere.
Posey was a September call-up in 2009. He played 108 games in 2010.
Our Cody Ross could be Cody Ross.
Then perhaps our Posey is still out there, too. Or maybe it could be someone like Tyler Moore.
Or maybe it's a healthy Zimmerman and Morse
They're healthy. Stop making excuses for them being POS
Zim is not healthy at all. Morse is just getting back into the groove after being out for 2 months, hopefully his bat comes around soon..
Zim's been back for like 2 months. He is healthy, stop making excuses. Its always an excuse with him.
Him and Strasburg. Always making excuses for these guys
It's funny that no one ever made an excuse for Livan's bad starts. No one is making excuses for Edwin Jackson, Gio, Adam LaRoche, etc. It's only Strasburg and Zim because we have to treat them with kiddy gloves. It's never their fault if they struggle.
