BS call by the ump on one pitch then Dukes fails to catch the ball. More BP mismanagement by Manny.
I can't belive he put Villone in this situation. Tavarez would have made more sense.

He was afraid of the fence, unfamiliar park.  Losing team, why put out?

That's what his foster daughter said.  ZING!

(I botched it)

Sometimes it bounces off the old noodle. Was that Conseco?

One of many, no doubt.

which reliever will give it up?

sportsfan by your own posts you have said that the bullpen would blow this and now you're acting like there is someone in the bullpen who could've come in to shut them down?

Yeah, nobody puts out for losers

I'm just getting really frustrated that nobody's making tough plays.  There goes another non-play.

You crack me up. It wouldn't matter who got the call, you'd want someone else and it'd be the end of the world.  Carry on.  ;)

Why do i watch this team? I blame everyone in the organization for putting together this farce of a bullpen.

It's always the guy who didn't get the call who could've gotten the save.

dukes is just not a center fielder - a good one makes at least one of those catches.

Dibble is right that the ball was well struck off of a bad pitch. But if we had a real CFer, the catch would have been made.

he's awful but as others said he has been pitching well lately and he is right-handed.

Villone has been garbage lately (4 losses in his last 4 appearances!) and should not have been brought in with the heat of the lineup up.

Hanrahan for the 7th? (Image removed from quote.)

No, Tavarez. that's just as awful.

Tavarez would have made more sense.

To be honest, I was stunned when I got home from work and saw 3-2 on the board.  At least we are still close, but I'm not holding my breath.

Well I'm headed off to the gym, I'll put the game on the treadmill TV.
