Okay, the great Clippard experiment is done please. Put Storen back in his role as closer and let's stop with the heart attacks in the 9th inning

Lannan smiling ... kind of sad because in about an hour or so he's going to be heading back to Syracuse

I had to leave to go play soccer after the 7th, here's my 2 cents.

Massive win for the club, shows we have a great deal of character, after yesterday's choke job, and losing game one of the DH, a really healthy lead in the division could have been erased in one quick series.

I am really mpressed with John Lannan, if nothing else because of the professionalism, he has been poor in AAA but when called in to help the club in a spot start he came up huge.

And yes he earns $5million to play there but he's a pro and he has to be bitter he was demoted after a solid season last year.

I'm becoming impressed more and more by Bernie and Espi, if Desmond is still sore with that oblique I am not so worried if it means Espi goes to short and shark plays a few more games while Bryce moves over to right and morse to left (seems logical)

If we can go ahead and win tomorrow and split the series after a potentially disastrous weekend it Would be massive for the team

Good news: Welcome back Pilsner Urquell to the Scoreboard Walk bar

More good news: Our other three division rivals all lost, for the second straight day - it's shaping up as a two-team battle in the NL East

Bad news: Still too many Braves fans in the house

I'm still in shock that it was John Lannan and Roger Bernadina of all people who saved our season.
