So is anyone watching "Hannibal"? I'm not sure I've ever seen a better show. Which is ironic because I never really cared for the movies too much.

I am. I was wondering after last season how they would play this one out, interesting....

I hope they don't stick with the "case of the week" thing for too long that they just rebooted. I also hope the flash-forward at the beginning of the season isn't beyond the finale of season 2. I want more understanding of how that went down and how that affects the rest of the story.

I'm a little meh on the case of the week thing as well. Not sure how I want the flash forward to play out. If they can get another season out of the story line and keep it interesting that would be good, but I can't really see that. Eventually they will have to catch him, and I don't know that another season is possible. I mean, it is call 'Hannibal' after all.

Anyone know when the new season of Orange is the New Black comes out?

Also, I'm on season 6 of MI-5 on Netflix. Good stuff if you like well plotted out spy stuff. And there's a fair amount of boinking that goes on too.

Crossing Lines with Donald Sutherland is also a worthwhile view. Also on Netflix.

There was a great documentary on the PBS show Frontline last night, concerning solitary confinement and the effect of solitary on inmates.  There will be another show next week on prisons.  I wonder if Terpfan saw this show and what he thought of it.

Solitary confinement, at least in maryland is not what youd imagine. We have segregation but they just dont come out of the cell much. Most are double celled unless they are on PC or are a danger to others. True solitary confinement doesnt exist in maryland. I would guess its quite rare throughout the US.

I enjoy Turn for the fact that it's a 1776 Revolutionary War setting. I hope it has some success. It's the same reason I enjoy Vikings and Black Sails. I love these types of environments.

Silicon Valley is entertaining for what it's worth. I'll keep watching.

The Daily Mirror is England's version of Glenn Beck.

It's good, but I think for a lot of us, the people that are in to science and space exploration and such, it doesn't really say anything new.  It's presented well, and I think it's great as an introduction for kids or people who have never really been interested in science, but not really that great for "us."  And as HalfSmokes said, Tyson isn't Sagan.  He's great, I love him, but I remember watching the original and getting chills.

In any case, I think it's great to have science based programming on a big network at a prime time slot.

Person of Interest was fanfreakingtastic tonight.

Peter Collier is the best villain on TV at the moment.

please make this happen:  http://splitsider.com/2014/05/norm-macdonald-is-campaigning-on-twitter-to-become-host-of-cbss-late-late-show/

If I actually watched anything that late I might have a say, but if I did I really wouldn't watch this guy. The only worse choice would be Gary Shandling, talk about annoying.....

I still watch every episode. The whole production is a little weird though. First, all the Fox channels broadcast everything at 720 rather than 1080p. Second, they seem to intentionally fuzz it up at times. I wonder if they are trying to make the CGI stand out?

It's not spectacular, but I've learned a couple of important concepts, things I didn't know.

I don't miss an episode either.    Not sure what I expect but I'm disappointed.
