Everybody drink Carpenter asked a hypothetical again!

I read that too fast. I was wondering what kind of drink a Carpenter was for a second.

pitiful. Kearns looking like the Kearns of old. Rolling over ground balls to the left side. Where's the power/elevation?

AK25 with another groundout to third?  His 3rd or 4th since coming back?  My goodness.

Where's that power he displays Bowden?  Where's Wily Mo Pena's power?  Where's Felipe Lopez's versatility?

The thought that Redding, Lannan or Rauch should be our ASG rep over Guzman is ridiculous.

Rauch's WHIP and ERA+ are disgusting, but he's still ways away from Guzman.

Another Nationals inning ended by a double play.   A holiday tradition.

I can't believe how many MLB games on July 4 are scheduled for the evening.  Local fireworks are a holiday tradition, so afternoon games seem more appropriate.  BOO MLB!

Can't blame Bowden for them not doing what they're supposed to do.

I'm blaming him for thinking they have talent and having them on this team.

I don't know what a Carpenter drink would be but a Debbi Taylor drink would be similar to a zombie or a mind eraser except it would make you

It's time and time again the Nationals can't put away the likes of a Cody Ross, Jerry Hairston Jr, etc.

And the offense can't tee off the likes of a Garrett Olson, Bronson Arroyo, etc.

Just so pathetic.

You knew he'd walk Griffey after giving up a jack to him.

I'm blaming him for thinking they have talent and having them on this team.

Kearns had an .830 OPS the year he came here.
Lopez was an AS SS the year before he came here.
WMP was a risk, but he did great when he showed up last year.

All are underachieving. You can't blame the GM for THAT, but you can blame him for not trying to trade at least two of them (and that's only if he hasn't tried).

I blame him for sticking with them this long.  Don't get me wrong they deserve as much blame but the guy is the one who put them on the roster.  They should all be off.

pathetic. So close to it being 5-0. Bergmann would have deserved it for rolling over and walking Griffey and Phillips with 2 outs.

Hairston is batting .335 with a .379 OBP, a huge year for him.  Must love this stadium ball park.
