the million dollar question.  i think injury had something to do with it, he was probably feeling the heat of other young guys, but at the same time you have to perform better than what he did in the first half.  that was really, really bad.

i like this second half dessie, but it sucks that at any time we could see the 1st half one
I wouldn't mind him in the 2 spot, but a pure leadoff guy would make this offense pretty potent.

freak it, let Werth pitch, he's getting paid enough.

LOL that'd be awesome.

I think this 4 game sweep is due to Smurf magic.

I went out to run the dog it was 3 - 1. Is there something wrong with Gameday?

Besides being overloaded with Nats awesomeness, nope...

Why didn't Desmond do this all year? Or at least something close to this?

I'd ask if that's a serious question, but I know it is :smh:

cue annie coming in to talk crap, but he's best suited for that spot, imo.  davey said he likes him at the top, so i'm curious as to what we do in the offseason.  what kind of CF are we looking for?  a prototypical leadoff CF or someone who can hit in middle line-up with pop.

First road sweep of the year, and only the second 4-game road sweep in Nationals history!

Yup, god Davey is freaking awful.

 :wtf:

You're the one who calls for Clippard in nearly every relief pitcher situation.

I'd go for a leadoff CF type with Desi at the 2 spot if we're going to go that route.

I will add, it was a brilliantly managed series by a veteran manager.

The Nats scored more runs in the 8th and 9th today than the Mets scored all series :lmao:
