i was listening to a part of the Yankee game tonite and the Yankee announcer says about Kenny Lofton that he knows how to work the count. Pitcher was ahead 0-2 and he "worked it" to 3-2. Then he added "that's what makes Lofton a great leadoff hitter." then i thought about Lopez and I'm still asking when was the last time Lopez led off an inning getting on base.

I see your point about the ump.  WTF does he want?  He expects Hill to throw belt-high fastballs all the time or some ****.

Up yours, buddy.

Hill was squeezed there. Its still no excuse for walking the pitcher though

my god... The ump is giving Young every close pitch on the corners.  Lopez out on 3 pitches.

and lopez does his magic again - leads off 0-2 and then grounds out (on a nice play by the 2b) when Guz comes back, I hope we bench Lopez and let Belliard lead off

Zimm is swinging at way too many pitches up out of the zone.

Come on man, you are acting like Lopez is the only person on the face of the earth who is going through a slump.  If you recall previous to this slump he was getting a bunch of hits.  He is still playing good defense and his batting average is still around .260 even after his recent struggles.  Guzman will be lucky to hit .260 when he is hitting his best.
