I told myself I'd go to bed early if the Nats had a solid lead going into the late innings...

...but screw it.

LAUGH...the Nats are like a box of chocolates.

He caught a foul ball in the camera well by the dugout and took out the TV camera...falling all over himself.

Happy birthday JMad!!! :D :D :D

Strangely enough, it's my birthday too!  Happy birthday to both of us!

o, happy birthday! I guess I can now admit that I imagine estoeric to look like Cristian Guzman, Chief to look like Chad Cordero, and RyanZimmerman to look like Ryan Zimmerman!! Do you guys?

I've been told(by my wife, and some women who work at places where I fix computers at) that I look like Boris Kojoe(spelling?).  except I don't have the six-pack.

women should know who he is.  I saw the guy for the first time on TV yesterday, my wife pointed him out to me.

Wait isnt Kojoe the fashion guy? Your wife must not like you very much if she said you look like him

I spelled his name wrong.  It's Kodje. Boris Kodje.

that's him.

Fantastic inning by Mike Stanton.  Looks like the team is firing on all cylinders thus far.  Maybe they want revenge for that 3-game sweep humiliation by the Papists back at RFK.

revenge is a dish best served with 6 innings of shutout ball by a career reliever.

The best part is that these were two discrete events.  It wasn't like catching the ball sent him flying into the camera.  He caught the ball, was standing there with no problem, and then just comically collapsed into the camera.  Very goofy looking.

Simile.

Sorry, you got me before.  I'm going to post about nothing but baseball from now on because I don't remember the last baseball-related post I did, and that's a bad thing.

The reason we're so off topic is because we all realize (knock on wood big time) that that Nats got six shoutout innings from Carrasco and are headed to their fifth straigth win.

I think it's because we are all so happy with this 5-0 lead and looking at a 5 game winning streak!

Yes but we gain a game on the Mets, giving us that much more insurance against finishing the season in the basement (and of course, finishing ahead of the Mets, which is a noble quest in and of itself ;) ).  Also one win closer to securing a winning record in our inaugural year :)

Hey can somebody tell me why Vidro came out for Kelly other than speed?  Vidro wasn't hurt or anything was he?
