Lannan is winding down.  this was an off night, and he just didn't have it.

Well, the score is TIED, Maine is at 109 pitches, and Lannan's at 85 and now striking guys out.

Our Ryan Church would have swung at that pitch in the dirt.

true.  and that is a testament to Lannan as a pitcher, because he clearly did not have his best stuff or best command tonight.

That was a terrible pitch by Lannan but Kearns should have had that one. I think it's time to bench his ass for good. He's hitting .200 and his defense has been mediocre this season.

I totally agree with the last half dozen posts :?

edit - except getting fleeced, jury's still out on that, but I def hate Church and loudmouth Schneider now too.

you are a moron.

if Kearns made a better judgement on that ball, it is a routine out.

Church had little to do with that one, he just hit a routine line drive.

that said, regarding trade, look at the big picture, not just 2 months.

Glad I got my "tie game" optimistic post in before the Mutts go up 4-2.

Austin Kearns' misjudged that fly ball.  The inning should be over.  And still TIED.

Had Kearns made that play Lannan would've gotten credit for a quality start even though he had nothing but crap tonight.

Church hits a routine line drive out.

Kearns misjudges it, and it goes right over his head for a 2-run double.
