I like TB v Detroit more than Texas. I love Texas's ability to throw Wilson - Holland - Harrison in a series v. NYY, but v. Detroit, Cabrera, Martinez (stronger as a RHB), Young, and Peralta make that line up RHB heavy (with Cabrera and Young, emphasis on "heavy"). I still think the Rangers - Rays are going 5 and we'll see if Moore has a second act.

Verlander was looking great even late in the game, but he just happened to be in the midst of a rough patch when I opened the thread.

Matt Moore is trying to save the Rays' season right now. Wondering if this makes Niemann/Davis available.

Adrian Beltre is good. You have to wonder about the Red Sox not trying to resign him and Martinez and using the Gonzalez package to land a LF or RF.

Apparently, 3 HRs in a playoff game has been done 6 times, per MLB.com. Not listed, but 2x by Ruth, Game 6 1977 WS by Jackson. Gene Tenace only hit 2, in his first 2 WS at bats.
