If I go to a Cubs game this year I am going to stand up and clap for Alfonso. Other than Zimmerman he was pretty much the only thing that kept the games exciting. He just had a magical year that I will never forget. Smashing homers, stealing bases, and throwing out runners. I do not blame him at all for taking the money and going to Chicago. Everyone else would have done the exact same thing.
i agree - he gave us more than anyone expected - even tho, except for a stretch of about 10 games, he never really carried the team. cant blame him for taking twice the money the Nats were offering
