Unless we can get a bone fide stud I would be against the idea. We still need at least one more bat.

I agree. One HUGE bat if possible. You never know with Wily Mo, though. <---had to say it :)

God church could be a bonafide no debate starter if he would just learn to lay off of inside breaking balls

But apparently that's just not as easily done, especially the slow pitches inside.

Typical bipolar show-me-now attitude.

Please, Church has been the worst hitter in tha lineup getting regular playing time since July. Nook should be out there over Church. One at-bat doesn't erase the pass.

He typed that in reference to Peña's blast.

I meant Peña's RBI double. You may be right but he's here so I'll let him speak for himself.

The thing i like most about WIlly Mo Pena is he's a great down the middle hitter. Too many of tha Nats look at balls straight down tha middle for a strike. Willy Mo is agrressive and will amke you pay for that pitch. So say thats the only pitch he can hit.

Yeah, he's a Francouer-type. I don't mind the Ks if he produces for us.

Well, that was an ugly inning.

We should be into their bullpen, so we can start working them for the rest of the series.

Outside off the past two weeks or so nook has been a much worse hitter than church so spare me the lecture k? Two weeks does not erase the past. Nook is in a role he should excel at ,pr/defensive replacement and our offense as a whole is better for it

Gotta record some outs before this turns into a game.
