Thanks.

Wondering if I should even bother with tomorrow's public sale or just pull the trigger on Stubhub/Razorgator for some game 1 seats.

The trick is figuring out what a plausible price is.

I have an opportunity to buy a pair in 108-DD for $200. I'm a playoff n00b like many Nats fans, so I have no idea if that is reasonable for the NLDS (First Nats home game).

Considering the cheapest, worst seats are selling for 70+ each onand stub hub, those might be a good deal.

If there are weekday day NLDS games I'm in big sh*t.

My kids are in school.

Whatever happened to all playoff games being at night for TV?

I'm convinced prices will drop as soon as all the tickets are out there. I certainly can't imagine them going up even further.

But who knows.

I'd imagine the first playoffs in nearly 80 years in DC will be a very hot ticket, wouldn't it?  I'd expect those prices to be pretty high on the secondary market.

supply for secondary tickets will go up. so might demand once people who are hopeful to buy tickets tomorrow lose out. there could be an initial bounce tomorrow that lasts a few days. but that being said. tickets have been resonably priced the last few days and havent been moving on stubhub too much. i am also focusing on the cheapest tickets.

just to put matters in perspective. braves playoff tickets start at $25, yankees are in the $60 range, o's are high $70's. reds are about similar to us. and we are actually a little more than the cardinals.

outpacing some "baseball towns". well done. although there could be a novelty factor at play

Oh, sure, it will be a hot ticket. I just don't know how hot. I just can't imagine a whole bunch of people willing to pay several hundred dollars per ticket for a baseball game, no matter how big a game it is.

I think the very first game will be a hot ticket for sure.

I think it will drop too, but not below $50 ish. Complete shot in the dark though.

I may have tickets to Home Game 2 and Home Game 3 to sell, as well, given a last minute trip that looks like it is rearing it's head.  If so, I will post on here.  Both are nosebleeds in upper infield gallery that I'd sell at face value plus the processing.

Surprisingly I was able to get the tickets I wanted this time around with the non insider sale.   Going to game 1 with PANatsfan!

I went to get a hot chocolate from the local coffee shop instead of trying for tickets via the non insider sale. Looks like that was a mistake :(

Did anybody try to get seats today during the public sale. I logged in around 11:30 and there are no two seats available together for the NLDS. Seems like lots of availability for the WC and tie breaker games that are never going to be played though.

Those are the same prices offered for the extra strips and the STH and Insider presales. STH strips were cheaper. In my case, $65 vs. $85 in Sec. 113.

If I can swing it I'd come down for Game 2 of the World Series. The email I had with the presale only had up to the NCLS on it, when do World Series tickets go on sale?

As an aside, what is going on in DC October 12 to 24? I was trying to find a hotel just to price out a trip and was having problems finding a hotel with the special rate I usually get. Seems like something must be going on in DC that they are trying to jack up the rates at the hotels.

The NLCS and the WS tickets will go on sale later. Probably a similar process. STH first, Nats Insiders, then public.

Today was the "open to the public" sale.

No "INSIDER" code needed.

Assuming we win the division and HFA, we play the first two games of the NLDS on the road, correct?  So "game 1" tickets are actually for "game 3" and so on?
